Visa and Passport Return

Applicants who have been approved for visa issuance will receive their passports and immigrant visa packets returned via DHL courier services. For applicants living in Lima, DHL will generally return your visa’ed passport to approved applicants within 24 hours AFTER DHL HAS RECEIVED these passports from the Embassy. For areas outside of Lima, the return time is 48 hours after DHL receives the visa’ed passport. Applicants should allow at least 3 business days after the interview for any travel.

The DHL delivery fee is 16 s/, this amount that covers the applicant's passport return and/or immediate family in Lima. The delivery fee outside of Lima is 22.50 s/ this amount that covers the applicant's passport return and/or immediate family.

The DHL service is required for the return of all passports.
